Baja Mini + Micro Mini

New Surface,
New Look

We offer three levels of interior surface:

The heart of any pool remodeling project is resurfacing the interior of your pool.

We’ll spare you all the mad scientist passion our owners put into your new surface (from who we buy our cement and ocean pebbles from, how our Baja Pebble (Mini and Micro Mini) is mixed with Pozzolanic additives and even how it’s shot into your pool). Okay, we couldn't help ourselves, but we only gave you a little.

You won’t find another contractor with more experienced people-

  • With rare exceptions we use our own crews for your interior surface, tile, chip-out, and plumbing work.
  • We specialize in pool remodeling and surfacing. We built our company, from the ground up, to remodel and resurface pools.
  • We’ve seen just about every shortcut and mistake made by the pool contractors in the last 50 years (many that are now out of business for this very reason).
  • We have more superintendents in the field than companies twice our size, and our owners are in backyards every day.
Phoenix Interior Pool Surfacing

Baja Mini + Micro Mini Pebble

Baja Micro Mini is a CDC Pools exclusive Pebble surface; it is our blend. Our warranty is one of the best in the Phoenix pool remodeling industry. We offer a 15-year warranty on the material mix AND workmanship; a 10-year full warranty plus 5 years prorated. That’s significant because many warranties only cover the pebble. How can we do this? First, we control the quality. We custom blend the materials. Plus, our unique blend of Pozzolanic additives and pebble aggregate create an extremely durable surface. That lasts and lasts.

Baja Micro Mini Pebble

Our Baja Micro Mini pebble surface offers the durability of pebble without the roughness of traditional standard pebble. It’s smoother because the aggregate we use is smaller than the standard pebble surfaces you’ll find. Our Baja Micro Mini is a CDC Pools exclusive to our Phoenix pool remodeling strategy and comes in a variety of colors. Pozzolan bonds the pebbles better and longer.

Our warranty is one of the best in the pool remodeling industry. We warranty the total material mix and workmanship for 15 years! That's a 10-year full warranty, plus 5 years prorated. Interior Pool Surface by ecoFINISH

ecoFINISH by aquaBRIGHT

We are Arizona’s exclusive applicator for aquaBRIGHT high performance pool finishes by ecoFINISH. We join more than 100 applicators around the world to bring you what we believe is the future of pool finishes. Remember 20+ years ago when pebble finishes changed the way pools look? aquaBRIGHT changes the look of pools and pool water again.

aquaBRIGHT is a non-porous Ph neutral surface. This differs from the more porous cement-based plaster surfaces, and means you’ll add a fraction of the chemicals traditional surfaces require both at start-up and maintaining your Ph balance. Fewer chemicals means you’ll spend less and your water will look clearer and cleaner.

The Next Generation of Pool Surfaces by ecoFINISH

Because ecoFINISH finishes aren’t cement based, they reflect light differently, changing your experience of your pool. Seeing is believing. We encourage you to see the aquaBRIGHT finish at our showroom.

aquaBRIGHT is as durable as it is different, resisting chipping, peeling, chalking, staining and cracking. Plus, there is a range of architectural colors to chose from. ecoFINISH finishes are easier on the environment, reducing or eliminating trips to the landfill during construction and the associated carbon emissions, and reduced chemical use.

ecoFINISH finishes carry a 10-year warranty! That's a 5-year full warranty plus 5 years prorated.

Swimming Pool

Plaster

Yes, we offer plaster. But our plaster is more than most other plaster you'll find because a high percentage of its content is quartz, not marble. Quartz is far harder than marble. Which means it is more durable and longer-lasting.

Why investing in professional pool plastering in Phoenix Arizona is worth it.

Pool plaster is the finished coating to the surface of your in-ground pool. Over the years, pool plaster finishing can become damaged, stained, scratched or broken, especially if your pool has been frequently enjoyed over time.

Causes of plastering damage include, but aren’t limited to, the following:

  • Poor pool water chemistry
  • Storm damage and corrosion
  • Draining the pool and leaving it uncovered
  • Damage caused by debris and dirt
  • User damage and normal wear and tear
  • The overall age of your swimming pool
  • Faulty installation and improper maintenance
Structural Pool Leak Repair Phoenix AZ

Structural Pool Leaks

“My pool is leaking” is a pool owner’s worst nightmare. But it doesn’t have to be. Structural leaks, or leaks in the plumbing, are serious. Over time they can erode the soil that supports your pool and a small leak can turn into a real problem. We epoxy injection repair structural leaks.

Sometimes you can lose more than just water from structural cracks... If the crack occurs in a plaster pool, you’ll likely need to resurface the interior of the pool. If the crack occurs in a pebble pool, we can often repair it and patch the pebble surface. Cracks and leaks are not to be ignored, as highlighted in the video above. In fact, with this pool, their leaks could have sent 16,000 gallons of water down onto their neighbor's house.

The process of Leak Repair demonstrated: The video takes you through a typical project using a state-of-the-art epoxy injection method. Until something else is invented, this is the best solution for all but the most serious leaks. And we are one of the very few companies in Arizona certified on this equipment and procedure. When required, we can also completely remove the cracked portion of your pool wall, replace the re-bar and re-shotcrete that section of the pool.

Build Your Own Pool

If you are an owner-builder or acting as your own general contractor (or whatever you want to call it) to build your own pool, we 'feel ya'. We've been helping people like you almost as long as we've been remodeling pools. Think of us for:

  • The interior surface; Baja Pebble or ecoFINISH, the first truly new pool surface since pebble.
  • Waterline tile.

However, knowing what we DO NOT do is almost as important as knowing what we do:

  • We don't do site clean up, and the interior shell will need to be clean before we can shoot the interior surface.
  • If you are embedding tile "chips" in the surface (typically done on the steps), they need to be set at the proper height, and the same height as the in-floor cleaning heads (if you're using them).
  • And speaking of in-floor cleaning heads, we don't set in-floor cleaning heads. Check with the vendor you bought them from.
  • We do not set the elevation.
  • And please remember, you must pass final inspection BEFORE we shoot the interior surface of your pool. That isn't our rule, but it's a rule we cannot break.

We can recommend a handful of other contractors we know and trust to do some of the other work you'll need. But, please remember, we aren't your general contractor.
