Budget: Decking has a wide variety of options to choose from in any budget. Decking ranges from your lesser expensive deck as an acrylic lace deck to the higher end natural stone decking. Please meet with one of our estimators to get pricing on what best fits your budget.
Colors: When choosing a color for your decking you always want to keep in mind that the darker the color of the deck the hotter the deck is going to be on you, your child’s and your pets feet. The lighter the deck is always better for heat resistance. Although keep in mind that being in Arizona there is no deck that is actually cool to the touch in the summer, the term cool or kool deck received it’s name only because the pockets on the surface of the deck are there to help your feet because the whole pad of your feet is not touching the deck all at once, however unfortunately in the heat of the summer there is no deck that will be cool unless it is wet, so don’t let the name cool or kool deck fool you.
Elevations: When choosing to remodel the decking on your pool and you are determining if you want to change from a poured concrete deck to a natural stone deck, one thing to keep in mind is that it is not always possible to just lay stone or tile on top of the existing concrete. Our designers are trained to look at what you have existing in your yard to give you the options of what will work best and the most cost effective way to convert your current deck into the decking of your choice.

]]>Step 1: Start by turning off your pool equipment and if you have an automatic water leveler turn that off as well.
Step 2: Get an empty bucket and fill it with about 6” of water and take a colored marker and mark the inside of the bucket where the water level is. Leave the bucket out near the pool where it is getting ample sunlight as your swimming pool.
Step 3: Inside of your skimmer mark with a marker where the water level is at.
Step 4: Wait 24 hours and with a ruler measure the amount of water the bucket has lost as well as measure the amount of water the pool has lost. If the pool and the bucket both have lost close to the same amount of water your pool does not have a leak. However if your pool has lost significantly more water than the bucket your pool is losing water and you should either have a leak detection company come out to determine where the leak is or you can contact CDC Pools, Inc. to come and evaluate your pool.
Step 5: Turn your pool equipment and automatic water leveler back on after the test is completed.

One way customers are saving money — on average $500 per year — is by installing a new, energy-efficient variable speed pool pump. This will save you money, year in and year out, for two reasons:
1. Most pumps we see installed in back yards are larger than the pool requires. It’s like paying to operate a V8 engine in a car that only needs a four cylnders — it costs you too much money!
2. These new, energy-efficient pumps operate at variable speeds: one speed to run your pool cleaner; and a lower speed to circulate your water.
There are two more benefits to a variable speed pump:
3. Cleaner, clearer water. You’ll push water through your filter more slowly at the lower speed. This improves filtration. Better filtration equals cleaner, clearer water.
4. Circulating your water at a lower speed means you can run the pump longer and still save a substantial amount money. Better circulation means better suspension of chemicals in your water (when a pool sits idle in the sun you lose your chemical balance faster).
Lastly, if you are an APS customer, APS will give you a $200 rebate for installing a variable speed pump. A $500 per year savings, clearer water, more efficient chemical use and a $200 rebate! Make sure you ask your CDC Pool Specialist for all the details.

We’ve remodeled some of the largest commercial pools in Arizona for some of the most demanding resorts, universities, cities, HOAs and apartments. Organizations such as the University of Arizona, the City of Anthem, Marriott, the Arizona Cardinals and Luke Air Force Base can’t afford to be wrong.
Organizations like these choose CDC because:
We understand Virginia Graham-Baker compliance rules and we stay up-to-date with all county, state and city code requirements.
We understand what you have to do to move a project through the permitting process.
And we understand properties with residents or guests “pay dearly” for every day their pool’s down.
Who will you select to remodel your commercial pool?
